Information
Permission posts ease player communications by publicly making available what players are comfortable and uncomfortable writing about, reading about, and overall interacting with.
These posts are mandatory in Folkmore. A permissions post must be made to your character's journal and filled out covering the following content before you are accepted into the game. This permissions post must remain public throughout your stay in Folkmore.
For ease, we have coded an example permissions post below. It's not mandatory to use this particular code. You may use your own permissions code so long as it includes the following content.
Most importantly we want to be able to all quickly gauge limits for the character and/or player!
★ Character Information ★
Character Name: Whatever your character canonically goes by.
Character Canon: Name of canon / or "Original" for original characters
Canon Iteration: Original canon, canon alternate, aged, CRAU
Character Age: Literal age, and, if applicable, what age they appear as. Please clarify if mental/chronological/physical age differ.
Character Species: Human/Robot/Alien/etc. Include unique traits.
★ Out of Character Permissions ★
Backtagging: Are you alright with continuing old threads (usually over a month or two old, sometimes older)?
Fourth walling: Are you alright with your character being recognized by others who are not from your character's canon?
Thread hopping : Is it okay for other unrelated characters to interject on a thread you are playing out with someone else?
OOC opt-outs: What limits, content, and subjects you, as the player, don't wish to have mentioned, tag, or play out?
Anything else:

Physical affection: Is your character fine with physical contact?
Romance: Are you or your character interested in playing out romantic relationships, and what are your preferences?
Violence: Are you okay with involving your character in fighting, brawling, or heated arguments?
Injuries : Are you okay with injuring your character in a non-lethal way?
Death: Are you okay with injuring your character in a way that results in their death?
Telepathy and mind-reading: Do you allow other characters to read your character's mind, their mood, and/or other non-visible traits?
IC opt-outs: What limits, content, and subjects you do not wish your character to be involved with?
Content warnings related to the character: What content related to your character’s world and personal history might other people want warnings for or not to mention, tag, or play out?
Sensitive subjects related to the character: What actions, content, or subjects would cause a negative reaction from your character?
